Middle-earth Read-a-thon

So as you probably already know, Tolkien has a new book coming out, The Story of Kullervo. In honor of this, I decided to start(host?) a read-a-thon of all the 'middle-earth' books in order of events: The Silmarillion, The Hobbit, LOTR, and then finishing off in April with The Story of Kullervo.

Why are you doing this? your probably thinking. Well, the truth is I'm looking for more middle-earth excitement. You know when people talk about 'post Harry Potter depression'? Yeah well I have that, except for Middle-earth excitement(you know: the movies coming out and all that stuff. All the line parties and general mayhem.) So why not host a read-a-thon? XD Your welcome. There are three ways you can participate in this.

1) Join the G+ community I made for the read-a-thon. We will be discussing the books on there as we read them, also a discussion will happen at the end of reading each book. https://plus.google.com/u/0/communities/110624640700523651016

2) The forum thread on Council of Elrond, we will also be discussing the books on there and have adiscussion at the end of each month.(If you don't know what CoE is, it's an amazing LOTR/TH fansite with forums, fanfics, crafts, a shop, and so so much more! I love this site. You need an account to use the forums.) http://www.councilofelrond.com/forum/thread/37406/page/1/

3) The forum thread on The One Ring.net. Again, we will also be discussing the books on there and have adiscussion at the end of each month.((Again, The One Ring.net is another amazing fansite. They are always up-to-date on all the latest Middle-earth news. I would highly suggest subscribing to them, so you'll always be notified when they post something, and then create an account so you can use the forums) http://newboards.theonering.net/forum/gforum/perl/gforum.cgi?post=883624;sb=post_time;so=DESC;forum_view=forum_view_collapsed;;page=unread#unread

So I really hope you'll join me in this read-a-thon. Happy reading!
